Creative Critical Reflection

Through this process, the critical reflection was made to show out progress and understanding of media studies and everything that went along with it. The critical reflection showed my understanding of camera work like shot sizes, camera angles, camera composition, and camera framing, as well as camera movement. It showed my progress of learning mise en scene with colors, lighting, and anything to pertaining the process of the movie.      My critical reflection showed my creative side and the theme of the movie with the colors and the style of it. I wanted to show the process of the creation of my movie plus everything that could happen if it could possibly be released. Throughout the critical reflection I was able to think back on all the things that got me there and the process was great and the education that I got.

Production Week: Final Film

Production week was very stressful for all of us because of the time that we had and the fact that some people weren't pulling together in their ends of the project. We had to change characters and people and we had to do more work to get everything done on time. However, it was a fun experience over all with my team and were ready to do our creative critical reflection.           Extra things: We had to change things in our planning phase because we wanted it to match, and it took us some extra time which made everything so much more stressful for us. We had a little less time to film due to my sickness and lack of team effort from some, but we got it done.

Film Opening: Final Film

This was the final draft for my AICE media studies film opening. My and my team had changed a couple things around to make it more dynamic than the first draft, but we were really happy with the outcome. This had more characters and we put more time into the editing for the final draft. The new things we included was the logo for our production company at the beginning, opening credits for our characters, and more style the included mise en scene. we were very happy and proud of our movie production, and we were a little upset because we had to change somethings from our original plan and as well as our first draft due to some issue with scheduling and the places we wanted to film at. Over al we were pleased with the end result.  https://youtu.be/ivtomck1X68

Production Week: First Draft

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to contribute to the production week for this week due to me having pink eye, however I was still able to help out from home. I helped them with scene ideas and to edit the movie for the first draft being i wasn't able to do anything within the movie. we were all upset about this because the movie was supposed to be based off of me and a lot of things needed to be changed around but with hard work and teamwork, we made it, and we were pleased with our first draft results.

Film Opening: First Draft

https://youtu.be/qm8afBhVxDU   The first draft of the film opening had to be modified due to characters and schedule conflicts. However, we did make it into something that all of the group members were happy with that was still able to have the same location that we wanted to do.     During the film process of the film opening, me and my group were able to include all the mise en scene elements as well was camerawork and camera movement. But this was just out first draft, so everything wasn't the best we wanted to add more lighting and color elements to it, so we are soon going to be changing a few elements to make the film opening better.

Pre-Production: Planning Document PT2

This part of the planning document was to plan out the film opening. This showed the cast's roles, demographics, etc. All the important information that needed to be done to make the opening of the film was there for the film opening. The film pitch was more about all the pre-production of the film opening and the planning for how we should film it. It expressed all our ideas and creativity. This is the part of the planning where I was more in charge of because it was my idea at first before we had to change a couple things around.

Pre-Production: Planning Document PT1

This part of the planning phase was just a base line of everything that was supposed happen for the film opening.  The first picture shows the idea that we wanted for out logo (NightTime productions). It was a group effort that we chose this design to do and we were very happy with the results.       The second picture shows the general information of the film like the title , genre, rating, etc. that everyone would need to know before watching it and sharing it. Next would be the audience that would watch the movie. Since our movie is made up of mostly teenagers, the movie would be for teens but it also adults in it so it could also be for adults too.     The last picture is it show the cast for the film opening and who was the film crew. It shows everyone's  description of what people did and title.
