  Camera Movement Videos    The purpose of the exercise was to educate us on how to do camera movement as well as incorporate camerawork such as shot sizes, camera angles, camera framing, and camera composition to prepare us for the film we were going to make. Everyone in my group played a part in acting in the videos, as well as each of us took turns to film the videos for maximum efficiency.  The first video taken was a zoom in, medium frame, over the shoulder, eye level shot. It was able to capture the emotions and feeling into the scene.   Camera Movement   For this project my teammates and I had to complete a video storyboard helping to explain what camera movement was. in the process we found out that camera movement is the perspective of camera changing by moving the camera around. For this storyboard we made nine different scenes, and we are making six videos from the planned-out scenes during class. Each of the storyboards we had to have a different camera movement and had to include the action line, shot size, camera angles and the framing for the scene. I was in charge of writing down the ideas the team had and then sketching it to make these scenes come to life.

Camera Movement   Camera movement is how the camera moves intentionally in space and time. It makes effects and shape within the film. in film it makes dynamics and makes scenes more interesting and natural. The cameraperson or cinematographer moves the camera in a film. Bong  Joon-Ho and David Lynch are 2 people who are famous in the film industry. Bong Joon-Ho is a South Korean film director that made "Parasite" in 2019, "Memories of Murder" in 2003, and "Barking Dogs Never Bite" in 2000. David Lynch is a filmmaker and actor that worked on/ in "The Straight Story" in 1999, "What Did Jack Do?" in 2017, and "Mulholland Drive" in 2001.     Before this lesson I knew about zooming in and zooming out. They are two of the most common in films. They can differ depending on the context (slowing zooming in or out and quickly zooming in or out.)   Camera Composition     Camera composition is how the cinematographer frames and places everything inside the camera frame. For this section of the power point, just like the last one, me and my teammate has to utilize composition to analyze the movie scenes. For example, symmetry balance is when there is something usually a character in the middle of the frame that is in a symmetrical background. And there are leading lines shot that does a similar effect like the symmetry balance; the lines in the scene lead to the main focus usually a character or an object.     Just like the first section of the power point, we had to add the definition of the camera composition that we were doing, the movie's name, key points about the movie scene doesn't have to be super detailed, and then an action line that clearly states what is going on in the movie.

Camera Framing      Camera framing is the way that characters are set up in the camera and appeal to the audience of the movie.  For this section power point, me and my teammate utilized camera framing to analyze movie clips and find which movie had the certain camera framing in it. For example, every movie has a one shot. A one shot is when only one character is shown in the camera frame/ film. Whereas an over the shoulder shot, is when character are talking to one another and they put the camera over their shoulder to get the reaction of the other person they are talking to.      In the power point we had to add in a definition of camera framing that we were doing, movie's name, key points about the movie scene (small details on what's happening), and an action line clearing explain what is going on in the movie.

 Camera Composition      Camera composition is how a photographer chooses to arrange visual elements within the frame. There are many different elements that are within the film that makes it more interesting to the audience. Shapes shot emphasizes the thing, usually a character, in the frame with a shape like a square or circle. Leading lines are usually to emphasize key details or an important thing in a film. 

Camera Framing      Camera framing is how the cinematographer captures the character or characters in a shot, the number of characters can go from one to hundreds of people in a single frame. But this doesn't just count for characters, it can be items too. The insert shot can be for objects too; this shot can reveal key details for a film.
