Shot Sizes
When it comes to movies, shot sizes play a big part of mostly setting the scene for the film. There are 8 different shot sizes ranging from the farthest (establishing shot) and closest (extreme close up.) Most of these shots gives context in the film and further increases the quality of it rather than all the shots being the same size.
These two examples are the farthest and closest shots in a film. The establishing shot is the shot that shows the setting of the scene as well as gives context. Some movies even go as far as put a heading that will tell where it takes place. The other example is the extreme close up shot the gives emphasis on what is being shown in the film.
