Introduction to Storyboarding: Camera Angles

Camera Angles

Camera angles is the placement of the camera, that makes the angles how it is. The cinematographer does this to make dimension and dynamic in the film so that it isn't just one flat angle, this allows for emotion to be conveyed through the camera. For example, low angle shows dominance and power in the film whereas high angle (the polar opposite) shows submission and weakness.
