Annotation of Characters




    For this assignment me and my partners chose to do a horror movie to do our activity three on. Task four was my job and for that I annotated three characters from our movie. Annotating is a way of going into detail on something and picking apart something. For each character I answered seven questions on them. This furthered my understanding that the costumes characters wear is important to the theme and composition to make the audience more engaged in the movie.

Camera Angles      Camera angles is the placement of the camera, that makes the angles how it is. The cinematographer does this to make dimension and dynamic in the film so that it isn't just one flat angle, this allows for emotion to be  conveyed  through the camera. For example, low angle shows dominance and power in the film whereas high angle (the polar opposite) shows submission and weakness.
