Shot Sizes



    Shot sizes is how far away the subject of what you are filming to the camera, usually only showing a character rather than scenery (other than establishing shot and sometimes master shot). Establishing shot is the shot that would be farthest away, showing the geography of the scene. Whereas extreme close-up shot would be the shot that is closest to the camera. This focuses on one specific thing and bring close attention to it.

Camera Angles      Camera angles is the placement of the camera, that makes the angles how it is. The cinematographer does this to make dimension and dynamic in the film so that it isn't just one flat angle, this allows for emotion to be  conveyed  through the camera. For example, low angle shows dominance and power in the film whereas high angle (the polar opposite) shows submission and weakness.
